After my apprenticeship as a landscape gardener and the study of environmental engineering at the ZHAW, I studied wildlife ecology and management in Vienna. Since 2016, I have been working for KORA in monitoring, as well as research projects. My tasks include the capture of lynx, collection and analysis of data, and maintenance and development of our systems for telemetry and for captures. Additionally, I am responsible for the national bear monitoring and a member of the IUCN/SSC Bear Specialist Group. In my work, I especially appreciate the combination of practical work in the field and interesting data analysis on the computer. As a passionate hunter, you can find me hunting chamois in the beautiful Alpstein in autumn.
